Are You In Xanadu?

Technique Is Important!

Quality craftsmanship take years of practice to perfect and it's the corner stone of a great piece of jewelry. I've been making jewelry for over 5 years now and I'm still learning new things everyday. I feel a great sense of pride when I look at a finished piece perfectly executed. Check out the examples below for more information and tutorials.

Cabochon Embroidery

Cabochon Embroidery is a rich art with a long history.  Because each bead is stitched on by hand a large project can take me up to 2-3 weeks to complete. However, judging by the finished product, I think you will agree that's time well spent. Click on cabochon embroidery tutorial for a step by step lesson.

I took a sterling silversmithing course in Feb. of 2009 and just fell in love with it right from the start. Silversmithing in itself is quite a messy and smelly business. I have a few solder burns on my arms from my initial pieces but I consider them badges of honor. I love each and every one of my finished pieces so I hope you do too!
